Courtney Papinchak

Courtney is a beginner riding instructor at Johnna Stables.  She has been riding since the age of 7, when her grandmother bought her first riding lesson.  Courtney grew up riding hunter/jumpers and competing on the local circuit.  She also rode on the IHSA team at Allegheny College.  She has been training and teaching riding lessons for over 10 years and recently earned her Therapeutic Riding Certification.  Courtney has a passion for learning and has attended multiple clinics with pro riders, including Olympian Anne Kursinski.  When not teaching, Courtney spends time riding her appaloosa x thoroughbred mare, Cricket.  She also has a master’s degree in Geoenvironmental Studies and works as an environmental consultant part-time.
